About RegNexus Lumen
Most learning platforms were built to host content. RegNexus Lumen was built for the people who actually teach — and for the organisations that carry responsibility for what their learners achieve.
Why we built it
RegNexus Lumen began inside RegNexus, building software for regulated financial firms — a world where you don’t just do the work, you have to provethe work was done. Training in that world can’t be a folder of PDFs and a completion tick-box. It has to leave evidence.
Building that, we kept meeting the same truth from the other direction: every serious teaching operation — the tutoring company juggling six tools, the academy running evening classes over a video app, the independent teacher marking homework at midnight — has the same underlying need. One place to teach, to assess, to understand each learner, and to stand behind the results.
So we built RegNexus Lumen around the live classroom first: the cockpit where the teacher sees every question, the exercises that stream results back in real time, the marking, the records. The evidence layer that regulated firms demanded became something every teacher can offer: results that don’t ask to be taken on trust.
What we believe
Software should amplify the person at the front of the class, never replace them. Every RegNexus Lumen feature starts from what a working teacher actually does.
A finished video proves someone pressed play. Questions asked, exercises attempted and marks earned prove someone learned. We measure the second thing.
When a parent, employer or inspector asks how it went, an opinion isn't enough. Learning records should be durable, portable and independently verifiable.
Teaching businesses shouldn't be systems integrators. The classes, the marking, the records and the organisation belong in one place.
